Alvin, Simon and Theodore are 3 singing Chipmunks who were minding their own business when their Tree gets cut down and its sent to LA. When they arrive at Los Angeles they meet up with struggling songwriter 'Dave'. Despite first wrecking Dave's home, Dave is impressed by the Trios singing and makes a deal with them if they sing for him then they can stay in his house.
Dave's and the Chipmunks dreams come true but their success story is halted when greedy record executive uses the Chipmunks against Dave and wants to exploit them for his own personal gain.
Fans of the old cartoon series will surely enjoy this movie, but the SpongeBob generation may not. Mytvtalk.com awards this movie 3 stars.
