This movie revolves around a young business man (Christensen) his girlfriend (Alba) and his overprotective mother. Clay (Christensen) has a rare heart condition that needs to be operated on, so he consults in his friend Dr. Jack Harper (Terrance Howard) to do the surgery. Awake is like Transformers in a certain way as not everything meets the eye and when Clay goes into surgery he realises something is wrong as he is not completely 'under' but what he is about to hear is much worse.
This film could have been better, both Alba and Christensen has solid performances but nothing else in this film is worth remembering. Mytvtalk.com awards Awake 3 stars out of 5
