Batman Returns Movie Review
Batman returns once again, this time he has to face a corrupt business man and a horrid creature known as the Penguin (DeVito), mean while the Catwoman has her own agenda.
Having defeated the joker in Batman's last outing, this time Batman must race to clear his name as the Penguin tries to make the people of Gotham city hate The Dark Knight by framing him for various crimes. The penguin coerces business man Max Schrek to help him become the mayor of Gotham. Max Schrek is also the creator of the Catwoman as he pushes is secretary out of a window which he thinks he has killed her but she mysteriously re appears and now she has become Catwoman.
Just like Batman 1989 this film suffers from a silly plot. The villains for some reason are dressed up in clown uniforms I guess some one should have told them they were working for the joker. Everything from the silly outfits to silly weapons makes this movie un-watch able. Catwoman is also not explained one bit, she falls out of a window cats lick her then she suddenly has the martial art skills to rival Batman. As for the Penguin he is raised in a sewer by actual penguins then when he comes up to the surface he has advanced mind control devices which control the penguins with bombs on the back of them, I don't think I need to say any more about this movie.
Although this is an improvement on the first Batman this movie is still rubbish and at mytvtalk.com we advise not to watch Batman Returns. Mytvtalk.com gives Batman Returns 1 star out of 5.
